Adviso Wealth

Clarity and Confidence for Self-Directed Investors, Retirees, and Business Owners

Independent, research-driven financial advice with transparent hourly and flat-fee options so you can make smart, tax-efficient decisions and stay in control of your wealth.

AS SEEN IN

Most people don’t need someone to manage their money.
They need help making the right decisions.

A lack of investment options is rarely the issue.
The challenge is knowing which financial decisions actually matter and how they affect each other.

Retirement timing, taxes, cash flow, and investments rarely operate independently.
Important decisions are often made only once.

People want reassurance that nothing material is being overlooked and that the tradeoffs are understood before acting.

Confidence comes from understanding consequences, not forecasts.
Objective advice matters most when choices are irreversible.

Independent fiduciary guidance allows decisions to be evaluated without product incentives, sales pressure, or conflicting recommendations.

About Sweta

I’m Sweta Bhargav, CFA®, CFP®, and CEPA®. Imagine facing the question: “Should I retire now or wait a few more years?” For many of my clients, decisions like these are about so much more than numbers on a page. Most people who reach out to me aren’t just looking for someone to sell investments or watch the markets. They want help making real-life choices and want to be sure they understand the consequences before moving forward. I have experience in investment analysis, financial planning, and business transition planning. These areas are often treated separately, but many decisions involve all three simultaneously. Questions about retirement timing, withdrawal strategies, concentrated positions, or stepping back from a business are rarely simple. The results depend on how everything fits together. I started Adviso Wealth to give people a place to look at all these decisions together, without product incentives or conflicting advice. We sell no products and accept zero referral fees. This transparency ensures that every recommendation is truly in your best interest. I’m a fee-only financial planner based in Princeton, and I’m paid only for my advice and implementation. My recommendations aren’t tied to commissions or proprietary investments.
My goal is simple:
You’ll understand your options, see the tradeoffs clearly, and feel confident moving forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Working With Me

Are you a fiduciary?

Yes. As a fee-only fiduciary financial advisor, I am legally and ethically required to act in your best interests. I do not receive commissions or compensation from financial products.

How are you paid?

I offer hourly or flat-fee arrangements based on your needs. All fees are discussed and agreed upon in advance for transparency.

Do you only offer advice, or do you also manage investments?

I provide both advisory and portfolio management services. Some clients seek independent advice, while others prefer ongoing management. We will determine the best approach during our introductory call.

What qualifications do you possess?

I hold CFA®, CFP®, and CEPA® certifications, which demonstrate advanced investment expertise, comprehensive financial planning skills, and experience guiding clients through complex transitions such as retirement or liquidity events.

Fees & Engagement Structure

How much does a thorough financial review cost?

Comprehensive flat-fee financial advisory reviews typically range from $3,500 to $7,500, depending on the complexity of your situation. The exact fee is confirmed before work begins.

Why is there a range instead of a single price?

Client needs vary. Some focus on a single issue, while others address several interconnected decisions involving timing, income, taxes, and investments. Fees are based on complexity, not hours worked.

Are hourly financial planning services still available?

Yes. Hourly planning is available for specific questions, second opinions, or additional support after a flat-fee engagement. We will discuss the most suitable approach during our introductory call.

I hold CFA®, CFP®, and CEPA® certifications, which demonstrate advanced investment expertise, comprehensive financial planning skills, and experience guiding clients through complex transitions such as retirement or liquidity events.

Retirement & Decision-Focused Planning

Are you able to help with withdrawal methods for retirement?

Yes. I help clients develop withdrawal strategies from taxable, tax-deferred, and tax-free accounts to achieve their goals and minimize taxes.

Do you help in making decisions about Social Security?

Yes. Social Security decisions often involve marital status, portfolio withdrawals, and tax planning. I help clients understand their options and the associated trade-offs.

Usually, who gains from a thorough review?

Clients who benefit most are those facing several important decisions, such as reassessing risk and tax exposure, managing concentrated assets, transitioning from accumulation to income, or preparing for retirement projections for individuals.

Fit & Logistics

Do I need to move my accounts to work with you?

No. Clients may keep their accounts where they are and maintain full independence. Portfolio management is optional and can be discussed separately if desired.

What happens when the engagement is over?

Many hourly clients return for additional questions or new decisions. No ongoing commitment is required.

What happens during the introductory call?

During the 30-minute introductory session, we discuss your goals, key questions, and the type of support that would be most helpful. This meeting can be held by phone or Zoom and carries no obligation.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. I am located in Princeton, New Jersey, and can meet with clients in person if preferred. Many clients also choose virtual meetings via Zoom. We will decide together which format best meets your needs.

How is our flat-fee financial advisor planning model different from traditional advisors?

At Adviso Wealth, costs are clear and straightforward. Fees are not based on a percentage of your investment assets. Traditional advisors often market products that generate commissions or charge fees based on assets under management (AUM). With Adviso Wealth’s flat-fee model, you receive objective guidance without hidden fees or pressure to move your funds.

Do we require a certain level of assets or revenue to work with us?

No, we do not have an asset minimum. We serve individuals and families who value clarity and seek advice aligned with their interests.

Clients with modest assets receive the same attention as clients with substantial wealth. Clients with significant complexity can be assured that the advice is focused on their long-term success, not on gathering their assets.

Many of our clients are business owners seeking financial planning, professionals, real estate investors, and first-generation families who seek a partner to help them evaluate choices, understand trade-offs, and make informed decisions.

What does the process look like after scheduling an introductory call with us?

After our introductory call, if we determine we are the right fit and have identified the appropriate service level, we will share our engagement agreement, request the necessary documents to begin your financial analysis, and schedule an in-person or Zoom meeting.
